This Satuday I took my first journey into the Sierra Mountains that border the west side of Cordoba. Only 35 minutes away by a $2 bus, Carlos Paz is small and tourist-y town.

We took a city bus tour and were provded these lovely hats.

During the bus tour, we stopped at a alfajores factory/museum/shop. I love the afajores my madre makes, but these weren`t that good. Alfajores are kinda like sandwich cookies with dulce de leche in the middle and coconut or sprinkles rolled around the center.
